What Should Be Done About The Lead Contamination From All The “made In China” Products Being Sent To Landfills

Last I heard, they will not be sending them to landfills. Mattel doesn’t know how to dispose of them. I’ll link the news story if I can find it. It was a week or so ago since I read that, so maybe the situation has changed since then.http://cbs2chicago.com/topstories/topsto…
I suppose some consumers still throw them away, so even if Mattel/Fisher Price take care of them responsibly (if that’s possible) there will still be them in the landfills. I really don’t know be . Do you?
