The problem of low-self esteem is one of the top problems in the modern world. Psychologists say that a persons self esteem is the value they place on themselves and how they value their own self worth. It seems reasonably simple as a concept but if you really ask yourself, how do you value your own worth, you will see that it is not quite as simple a question as it may sound upon first hearing it.

The reason why our self esteem constantly fluctuates is because these are times when everything is compared to something someone else has done. The speed at which self esteem drops down is no way comparable to the speed at which it is built up once again! One small phrase someone says can totally destroy our self esteem ” especially if that person is held in very high regard by us and the at large; but to build it up, it is a painstaking process that takes a long time and constant mentor-ship.

In spite of what a lot of books say, just saying that I feel great is not going to completely help. Instead, there needs to be a process that takes us step by step into dealing with our insufficiencies and all the negatives we have in store about ourselves, and iron them out individually. For that, there is need of a real expert, and an expert in this case is not just an education based position! Since self esteem is entirely a practical thing, there needs to be someone who has been there and done that.

If you think that low self esteem is only a case with people who are not successful in life, you are wrong! There are several extremely successful people who have a very low self esteem, and that makes their life hell!

There is a lot to be learnt about this important and sensitive topic and the best person to learn it all from would be someone who has been there themselves and has come out of it a happier person. If you can find a person like this, it would definitely be worth having a talk with them if low self esteem is a problem for you.

When you commission the building of your website, the biggest focus for you and quite often your designer is the design. We all want our sites to look great with great graphics, but quite often the trade off comes with functionality.

Your website should be a 24/7 working salesperson for your company, bringing in new round the clock so that every time you check your inbox you should have new enquiries from leads sitting in there that are waiting to be turned into sales.

The job of a website can vary. You can use it to capture prospects contact details so that you can contact them at a later date to sell to them, you can use it to generate leads for you to contact with a quote, or you can use it to sell direct to the public automatically. It will of course depend on your business as to what the purpose of your website is, but the important thing here is that your site must have a purpose!!!

Once you have established your sites purpose you will want to add Calls to Action on each page, so each visitor has an action to take once they have read your content. Content needs to take to format of.. identifying the prospects problem, issue or need explain how you can solve, fix or supply it.. provide an easy system for the prospect to take action.

Once your site has all of these features in place, you should start looking to generate some traffic to it. This is where many web designers falter as it is not strictly their job to get visitors to your site, so many of them dont concern themselves with how to do it, but there are some functionalities that will seriously hinder your progress when trying to rank well in . Features such as flash animations and the use of content management systems (CMS) pose this problem.

The best course of action is to seek from an experienced company before you commission your so as to avoid having to completely re-write your content and re-design your site in order to get it ranking well in search engines.
