@ Aaronontherocks Could be a damaged prop or wear the ring. . . The piece that is pressed into the pump. . . looks like rubber on? the outside of the prop, the prop is close to the surface. If it is bubbled, torn or gouged, the ski will have “cavitation” or just rev really hard off the line and not go, or pick up speed. Thanks.
with my jet ski it the engine revs good but it only moves about 4 mph do? you no what the problem might be?
@ Elvishvacman look at the vin, or HIN tag on the back of the craft. . . plastic? tag. Last two numbers in the 12 digit vin is the year on any craft. . . . same on all PWC.

@ Ffhd1clt Hard to say. Most of the 97 and up models had this part fitted from the factory. ? Just pull the cone. . . . is there a white pusher? If so, it is already installed. But be advised. . . . hrs after about 150th . . replace it.
So Sincere? my SeaDoo is a 1997, I should not need this? By the way, I have learned to change the oil pump, so I am familiar with removing the cone, etc.

The nasty smell is? from the burnt gear oil in there. . . could have been the 1st time you ever changed it! Most people do not even know the pump has oil in it! Thanks! Just installing it took roughly 40 min’s the old oil smells? really bad but anyways very easy to do and the skiing sounds great thanks a lot man for this product and vid i hae a 96 sea doo gsx and it runs amazing even better now. . .

Yes, fits all models from 1988 to 1996, 1005 sure? of the proper fit. . . 140mm all pumps in that vintage.
How do you get the rod out with the thrust bearing? I just got the cone off today now dont know where to go from there to get it all apart, i dont know much about working on these at? all i have a 92 sea doo sp 580 it has no thrust in the water it runs fine out of water but only goes about 4-5 miles per hour in water. Can you help me out at all, Thanks Tim
i have a 96 seadoo gsx bought it last yr from a? guy that never used it only 15 hrs were on it runs great but theres a problem with the seat it keeps coming up after hitting any medium size wave on the river in the back part clicks and fits fine its the metal strip under the front that there seems to be a problem any help on this and i want to buy this piece for mine because it does rattle even with the low hours thanks

The rattle or “knock” occurs only at an idle in the water. I think you are never on at idle! Sounds like? you are always on the gas, kickin ‘ass! LOL!
You have never heard that knocking noise from your craft or other sea-doo’s on at idle? I have been servicing sea-doo watercraft since 1988 and this problem is always one of the? 1st. things people complain about when calling me for the 1st. time. On craft before 1995 it makes a small added boost bottom end due to the longer cone, and holds twice as much oil. They do work very well, and they are very inexpensive so its a good fix for the guy looking to curb this problem if they have it. Thanks!
