Painting a Fursuit Head – Part 1

How to Airbrush a Tiger: the Base Colour This is about a half hours worth of work. I sped it up X2 and cut out about 10 minutes worth of unneeded video. I mixed up and airbrushed the orange, then followed it up with brown. Then I took a rag and washed off the muzzle where I’d accidentally gotten paint on it. The background music is from Final Fantasy X two to follow when it’s finished and uploaded. www.beetlecat.ca

I made my friend a picture of a white tiger with a purple nose and violet eyes. So i was wondering if you? if would agree to make a partial for her! She had the same color pawpads too. Her toes and fingers are then violet. Just think about it

  9. Do? u buy the actual Head? LIke the fur and teeth and the plastic and put em together urself?

  10. @ Marsvin55 She made herself the head. If you would like to try to make one of your own, you can buy upholstery foam, synthetic fur, a hot glue gun, glue sticks, and acrylic or plastic orbs for the eyes. I’m a complete? armature and I’ve already made two wearable heads from these materials (mine come out more cartoony than realistic photo.)

  11. where did you? get that head?

  12. Should? you cover the eyes? I feel like the paint would cover up the blue. : O

  13. Hey I was wondering what Beetlecat brand of airbrush you like to use. I’m in the process of building my own fursuit and would like to do a Considerable amount of fur trimming and airbrushing to get a finished effect. I’m just? trying to get started but would love to hear the opinion of a professional airbrush fursuit builder on what brand and its inks and paints are most appropriate for this type of project. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)
