  3. Alexander McQueen was perhaps the most visionary and creative designer to have yet lived. His pieces were always about both constructed and finely tailored clothing AND true, handmade works of art. His loss is insurmountable to the industry, but it is good to see his designer in carrying on his great tradition. Something in the music and lighting and collection speaks to me of? the far north, the silver accents reflecting light like ice would, in delicate Glint. The fur reminds me of Norse myth

  8. For this world to have lost Alexander McQueen is a devastation beyond comprehension. The meager words of any language, albeit spoken or displayed as artistically beautiful as every single piece of every single? One of his collections is, will never be able to convey the sheer magnitude to this realm of such a loss. Acquired heaven has another masterpiece. The fashion and art world will mourn utill the end of time, but Alexander is very happy now to be with his mother whom he loved so dearly. ~ Pamela
