@ Dromezz Punching is two dumbasses swinging. Boxing is two athletes testing their technical skills. Its like bjj, its sooooo technical. If you thought that you could go into a boxing ring and ‘just swing’ then you would get out classed by a decent boxer. You would get countered after every swing and they would just take advantage of every single mistake you make and opening for them.
@ MegaMma4life pure boxing (in boxing not mma) is a very technical sport. In fact most fighters in MMA BOXING arent, they are just punching and that is not very technical. I would say that pure boxing is just as technical as bjj
@ TheDomy23, it ranges from fighter to fighter as you said. Some guys pick up on Thurs grappling alarmingly quick. Jiu-jitsu that is seems to come pretty natural for guys with wrestling backgrounds. Some of the younger guys who pick up mma so, due to their age, have a lot of time to evolve. And when there’s a young natural talent picking up a sport, they Tend to evolve at an extreme rate, same goes for mma. But it requires proper work ethic as well as raw talent.
@ Bear Thoughts close just look it like these in modern day, u have a new martial art called mma, so people arent training first wrestling then come to MMA, they start as mma fighters and when u train just mma u can master any martial art u know basic and medicore from for example kickboxing or muay thai, wrestling bjj u cannot be jiu jitsu master if u are mma fighters in the new days its hard to get black belt if u did not start with jiu jitsu i dunno 10 years ago yes but depends on a fighter
