Head designer Antonio Marras describes his collection as being inspired by three strong women artists: Tina Modotti, Georgia O’Keefe, and Frida Kahlo. Each part of the show brings out each strong, powerful and intense personality with green in a military spirit for Tina Modotti, cashmere green with flower stripes for Georgia O’Keefe, and a boudouir with cashmere flower print and a chantilly lace for Frida Kahlo. Marras says it’s something of a Mexican fiesta and makeup Tom Pecheaux agrees, using the makeup to match the unique characters of the three women artists. The eyebrow is strong, thick and intense brown, the shadow is a creamy gray and military green, the lashes are highlighted with brown pencil to create 3-dimension, a toffee color is added to the cheeks and the lips are matte smudged with violet pencil. Hair is messy with braids and teased at the crown and the clothes come in a palette of strong greens, browns, and beiges.
