On wikipedia it says Alexander’s mother died of Cancer about 5 days before he died. My mom was just diagnosed with lung cancer and has about 2-3 months to live. . . . . . . . some people find ways to deal with heart break easier then others and I myself know it is very hard at times to have the will to go on in the face of losing the people you love and losing all the hopes and dreams that that person represented. Truthfully, it was his designs that sparked my interest in fashion and in the so saddened that he has passed. He was fashion genius and there will never be anyone quite like him.
I would say Oliver Theyskens, just because he has a similar aesthetic. But even he does not compare to McQueen. So long my inspiration, I. R. P McQueen.
This is EXTREMELY still shocking to me. I can not even believe it. . . the past few months I have literally watched all of his dog shows hundreds of times. . and suddenly he’s dead. . I’m still in denial. Rest In Peace McQueen.
