www.walterberrios.com Exposición de mantos Paracas capta la atención en España Son en total 82 textiles los que estarán en exhibición en el Museo de América de Madrid hasta febrero del próximo año. Esta misma exposición se realizó el año pasado en Francia. Hasta finales de febrero del próximo año estarán en exposición 82 mantos Paracas en las instalaciones del Museo de América de Madrid, en España. Esta es la primera vez que los vestigios de esta cultura peruana llegan a la Madre Patria. Todas las piezas proceden del Museo Nacional de ArqueologÃa, AntropologÃa e Historia del Perú y del Museo Regional de Ica. La exposición, ya fue presentada el pasado año en las salas del Museo del Quai Branly de ParÃs, donde despertó un gran interés. Esta cultura, que alcanzó su esplendor entre los años 100 aC y 200 d. C, en la penÃnsula de Paracas, en la costa sur de Perú, fue descubierta por el arqueólogo Julio Tello, -considerado hoy como el padre de la arqueologÃa peruana-, en 1925, comenzando el estudio de la misma tras desenterrar más de cuatrocientos fardos funerarios en la necrópolis de Wari Kayan, ubicada en la localidad de Cerro Colorado, en Paracas, precisó la revista de arte español Logopress . La muestra del Museo de América de Madrid, que está comisariada por la conservadora del Museo, Ana Verde Casanova, está patrocinada por el Ministerio de Cultura de España y la Embajada de Perú en ese paÃs
