@anchorman632 These trucks are modified, probably making 2000+hp, but the torque is probably 3-4000 ft/lbs (I’m giving an educated guess, I have a Freightliner with a Cummins ISX 600; 600 hp, about 2100 ft/lbs).
@robbedoes1985 have you ever heard what a cat does? it helps burn NOx and CO to N2O and CO2 which are relatively harmless. they do nothing about smoke (particles).
@RossG260 in the trucks, the engines rotation spins towards the passenger side. when they stand on these massive trucks with their massive engines the 2500+foot lbs. of torque they have are pushing down on the passenger side engine mount and pulling up on the drivers side mount. most of the power goes to the tranny but some of the massive power goes into the frame trying to hold the motor from ripping out of the truck. thats how the pick the front drivers side.

can anyone tell me what HP is goin on here? The Scania 730 has just came out in Europe and at this moment in time is Europe’s most powerful truck.
