Where can I find a list of Companies that Outsource jobs?

I’d like to get a website that lists all the that to other countries so that I know what products I shouldn’t buy and what companies I need to steer clear of.

  1. I fear you may never find this. Companies are continuously outsourcing and also bringing jobs back as they find better ways of doing things.

It’s part of being efficient as a business.

First, companies moved some manufacturing to other countries because it was cheaper. Then they moved their tech support to places like India. Then they moved their telephone sales teams to India.

Recently, a lot of companies are finding that it’s cheaper to fire their outsourced companies and build call centers in places like Oklahoma where the US labor is incredibly cheap, and the folks there speak English and offer far better customer experiences.

Thus, there’s a lot of flux in the business employment marketspace and you’ll never really know where people are working from unless you ask directly, and you may not get an honest answer (the person you’re talking to with the Indian accent may be working in Silicon Valley California!)

I’m proud that US companies are striving to be efficient at business — it means we’ll have companies that continue to have jobs and make money.

Any US company that doesn’t explore outsourcing some of their business will be too unprofitable to operate and have to fire their employees anyway!

  2. It is virtually impossible to find anything american made . Did you know the German volkswagen car are assembled in three different counties . The USA Mexico and Germany . Even European and Asian countries outsource their labor . Most corporations out source their labor needs . Microsoft has outsourced their legal needs go figure . The only thing that is done domestically made is local grown produce . That’s is few and far between . We live in global economy and what most people don’t understand you have to continue to evolve with the times . People have to continue to reinvent themselves in order to survive . Think like a cockroach they always adapt to their environment . That’s what people need to to . I understand where you come from . Chances are if you buy anything these days it has gone through 3-4 countries before arriving at your local store

  3. No such list can exist. EVERY company large enough to be noticed by anyone interested in making such a list does business with other countries. Even if they don’t directly hire people in other countries, they buy from companies that do. If you want to avoid them all, you will have to avoid buying anything.
