Should China be considered evil?

It has been reported that is continuing to build up its forces. It continues to abuse human rights in a flagrant fashion. It constantly bullies and threatens its neighbors in the Pacific. And interests in the U. S. continue to call for cooperation with this regime that is fundamentally opposed to everything America stands for; freedom, tolerance, democracy, and human rights.

They are a an atheist country and the people are not allow to have a Bible. Christian in China are being shot, decapitate and cook into pies daily. Their orphanages are full of baby girls left at the door steps ans they want a Boy child. Does this sound like good people to you?

Based on these facts, do you believe China is the new empire of the world? Do they seek to take over Asia and the Pacific? Will they challenge America’s position as a superpower? Could there be a war between the U. S. and China?

  1. No more evil than the government of the United States. What do you think the government of the United States has been doing for the last 100 years? (and the people of the US are not the government – that is an illusion)

  2. Considering how many people have been killed, aborted and enslaved, yes.

  3. montreaux1991

They are evil yes, but it would take an army comprised of every nation BUT China to take them out.

Like Iran, it’s another nation that is better left to crumble under it’s own corrupted weight.

  4. Well, perhaps you should reconsider what you’re saying based on a few things that are completely wrong about your statements.

While there are human right’s abuses, though not nearly as mnay as you would have us belive, I won’t argue the point right now.
However. . . People are allowed To choose religion now. You can have a bible and there is large Christian community. Why? the old Chinese religions people would be turnig to were suppressed thousands of years ago. Their government does not kill people for religion anymore!

The government is officially atheist however, as it is communist. However, The Chinese government just now recognized the existence of private property, the basis of capitalism. China has also been competing in a capitalist fashion for decades now. Did you see the Fisher Price recall today? Capitalist Cost Cutting Measures- they used lead paint rather then pay a little extra for safe paint. You don’t see that in a communist system. Proud?

the government is also participating in a massive effort to get people to have girls instead of boys. That goes back ages when people had to have kids to work the farm and could only afford to feed a limited amount. Now there are laws about it, and you can only have one child, you cannot give a girl up for adoption, so on and so forth. Now individual people will leave girls out to die in alleyways, that’s where the ones in orphanages come from. However, you cannot blame the government for what private citizens do to break the law.

And they are not an evil empire- They are expanding peacefully right now through capitalist means. they are building up a military, but despite manpower it’s not very well equipped.

China is making tremendous progress. Educate yourself about it.

  5. Yes they should be and the rest of the world lets them. They are destroying most of the worlds manufacturing because they can make it with practically slave labor and no pollution controls so its cheaper. They don’t know the meaning of copyright. If they can copy it and make it in their factory they will. They punish their own people for not agreeing with them. Most of their govt is corrupt.

The rest of the world encourages them by using their crappy knockoff products. Moving plants there knowing that anything built in that plant will be stolen and built for less by their govt funded plants.

  6. I don’t think we have to worry about a war between The US and China, unless China attacks us,and why would they? We have too many big businesses over there. And China makes too much money off of the US. Haven’t you seen all the “Made in China” labels? A lot of what’s going on in China is going on in America. Go to Yahoo News and look up woman with afterbirth. Look at the babies being murdered Look at all the atheists we have on this site. Look at all the rights and freedoms being taken away by Homeland Security. How many of us are really tolerant of each other. . I pray we keep democracy.

  7. Another piece of shit that anti-China. If you are the president, what will you do? Elliminate China? Did Jesus tell you to love others? I belive the concept of loving each others. If you love the opposite, the outcome will be opposite will love you too. If you hate other people, whats the outcome? Of coz people will hate back you. Do you think that China goverment wanted their subjects to leaves their baby girl as orphanage? Those practise was dated back to ancient times and still practiced illigally in China today though the Chinese goverment forbidden it heavily. It is the acts of certain people but not all. India also have practise such act and why dont you critic them? Because they are demoractic nation and china is communist, so u criticized china? I think you are ideologist bias asz o. Being a christian with you is a shame to me.

  8. just plain jim

Based on what facts? The ones the talking heads on smear radio have been telling you?

I am an ex pat from the USA living in China and what you know of China would fit in an atom, what you THINK you know would fit in a barrel.

My biggest defense of China is not what I or others say in support, is for you to come over here for a visit to see for yourself. The problem with that, is I suspect you’ll come over here with an ugly American fix it attitude. That doesn’t fly very well with the people here as they are very proud. But if you lose the attitude, what you’ll find is the Chinese people will be very curious about you and will go out of their way to accommodate you. Like any big city world wide, you’ll find less of that accommodating attitude then in the smaller cities.

China is much of what you want her to be, and little of what you think she is.

    Peace

    Jim
