China committed an act of war in the first months of President Bush’s tenure. You might recall they forced our “spy” plane down and stole out equipment. that was an act of war.
China hates us because of the commie slave traders that run the place. Prior to Mao the nationalist chinese were our friends and we helped them against the raping scum japanese troops of world war 2. then the commies took over, murdered a few million people, indoctrinated millions with lies and voila. . .
They are an atheist police state and the people are not allow to have a Bible. China is continuing to build up its forces. It continues to abuse human rights in a flagrant fashion. It constantly bullies and threatens its neighbors in the Pacific. it also fundamentally opposed to everything America stands for; freedom, tolerance and human rights.
Based on these facts, do you believe China is the new evil empire of the world? Do they seek to take over Asia and the Pacific? Shoukd we stop trading wiith them?

So are you proposing we have in our country a religion police such as Saudi Arabia has and when someone violates religious code we execute them?

They are trying to poison our children.
We should stop importing goods from China for economic, and political reasons. They’ve sent us over a million poison toys, thousands of pounds of poison pet food ingredients, and shiploads of tainted toothpaste and cough syrup. We don’t really “trade” with China. They unload tons of goods at American ports, and their ships return to China empty.

First they claim the plane was in China air space and that those same kind of violations had been going on for sometime and the Chinese had warned the US repeatably not to do that. Second, the guy that caused the plane to go down was a hot dog pilot and made an error that clipped our plane which caused his own death. The reason the USA didn’t go to war is the above.
China is NOT AN ATHEIST POLICE STATE. China is not even a police state. They have religious freedom in China. I know from personal experience on both counts. I live and work here as an ex pat from the USA as a teacher and some of my students carry bibles into school and the worst I’ve seen the police do is arrest two common thieves a week ago.
China is MODERNIZING ITS MILITARY because their economy has improved so they can afford to do that. Plus, two years ago China reduced its military force by 1 million. Plus they have stated publicly they will not invade or bring a first strike against a sovereign nation. We’ve done that twice since Bush has become president and if Bush had his way, we’d do it a third time. China last incursion was in the late 70′s in Vietnam and that only lasted a month. They have little experience in modern warfare.
Please point to links that say that China is bullying other countries in Asia. I know of no such bullying.
China is not apposed to freedom, if that was the case they’d still be living in 1950′s totalitarian communist dictatorial state which is no longer the case. The people have more say then anytime in their 5,000 year history. From jobs, to travel, to even getting rich. And yes, even speaking out. Problem is, the Chinese people are pretty apathetic and are more concerned with getting to the American middle class dream.
There was a politician who said to a Chinese official that China need to stop its human rights violations. The official stated to the politician that we’ll talk about that when you get your own house in order. He was referring to things like our secret prisons, Gitmo and our overflowing penal system that has a higher incarceration rate then China, arguably the highest in the world.
Based on the facts above and your lack of facts, or more accurately old facts that no longer have a baring on the present, I’d say the true evil empire is not China, but rather the USA. China has no intention of taking over Asia thus destroying their markets. If we stop trading with them, what are you going to do about clothes, computer components, parts for your car, the list is frigging endless.
Its time you take the scared thinking cap off and start to think for yourself and learn from people like myself, instead of getting your junk out of whatever fear medium envelopes your senses.
