  1. it’s cheaper in china

  2. Basically it is cheaper for them to do that as they can pay workers in China much lower wages.

  3. Cause the faggs just want cheap stuff and sell it at high prices

  4. Because Chinese make things for way less than Americans would- they don’t have the labor laws that we do. The working conditions are poor- they are crowded with poor ventilation. A lot of the people who go to work in the factories have to leave their families and live in dorms. They also have to work sometimes up to 18 hours a day, if not more.

I would suggest you what the show, “Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices” to learn more about what WalMart is doing.

I will not shop there. They treat their American workers poorly, and they don’t care about the conditions in which their products are made. I suggest you educate yourself on the matter- it will disgust you when you learn what they do.

  5. The easiest answer is because this is America. We are a Capitalist country. That means make as much money as you can. Having things made here may increase quality, but it would definitely cost much more thereby decreasing profit. Low profits are not allowed in this country. It is cheaper to pay other countries’ citizens to produce then ship back to America than it is to pay american workers minimum wage and insurance benefits.
When other countries’ workers get injured or killed on-the-job, it may cost the corporation as little as $5,000. 00(USD) per incident and keep going. When this happens in America, it could cost as much as $1,000,000. 00(USD) or more after any possible litigation.

Remember, it really is all about the money, not the customer nor employee.

This may sound cynical, but it is the truth. God (or whomever you deem as Diety), bless America!

  6. money, money, money – they want cheap products, so that they can have better profits.

In china, the wage is cheap, the taxes are low, poor working conditions and employee benefits, little govt control on labour conditions and pollution, the chinese currency is low vs US$, etc.

  7. You will see more and more made out of the country . I worked for a textile company that made yarn from cotton . We could buy the yarn already on the cone from Turkey cheaper than we could buy the cotton .

Our government has placed so many rules on businesses that it along with higher pay rates are making it so hard to make a profit .

Obama-care is going to send thousands if not millions of jobs overseas. Companies can no longer afford these benefits that they gave out years ago . Products can now be moved from all parts of the world so easy and cheap .

Walmart and Target could more people in this country back to work if they woulds sell more American made products .

  8. Labour cost is cheap in China.

  9. YOUR ACCOUNTING GURU

GLOBILIZATION: The theory is if we produce products on other countries soil, they will invest in us.

Also, just like Boeing moved from Seattle to South Carolina because there are no UNIONS in South Carolina, cost is a factor in these decisions

Let me refer you to this book, it is awesome. . I am currently reading it

  10. I am a chinese and I got the answer. Worker in china get paid much less than in US. For most of the physical workers like factory workers, their avg salary is about $200-$400 a month. Even most of the mental workers paid about $400 – $1500 (vary as different city, different experience) a month.
So it’s no wonder why the goods are cheaper. Dealers need to lower the cost, it’s costs low in China, so naturally they chose China to get more profits.

  11. Simple answer for you:

There are many products which are imported and made from other countries.

The items made in China are those of lower production cost and thus lower selling price. You keep on seeing them because you are shopping in shops with lower price range.
