Reggie Goodwin weaves the tapestry of emotions, which he by his off with the high-tech industry in a short but powerful work of art, not only with first-rate quotations from the works of others placed filled, but also his own exquisite poetry is gone. He is truly a gifted, brilliant writer, [especially in the field of poetry. . . ]. Each chapter builds on each other in a crescendo of tension, surprise and emotion – even humor – to the point where you can not put the book when they start to read. I read it in one sitting. I love the pictures in prose and poetry sworn, my favorite artist is the passage about his dying father. I also liked the chapter on the Reds, the shooting range. The writer has a way to draw in the book. Although the book is emotional, not lost in the emotion go – it is very well structured, contained, and sculptures in a passionate work of poetic prose. I would recommend this book to all interested in the plight of the unemployed, outsourcing and downsizing. Unless something is done will these kinds of layoffs continue to be the standard and the Achilles heel of our economy. Rating: 4 / 5
This is a work of passionate poetic prose, which with our desire to be independent, combines self-sustaining income groups in a time of constantly impending layoffs. So many of us fear the instability of the downsizing of corporations and are to the point of fear, as the options to get to us again to disappear affected with age. Here we see the first completed breadwinner lose his job and then his question itself is worth before class triumph over beides.Taalam Acey, International Slam Champion, performance poet and author, www. taalamacey. comBewertung: 5 / 5
Reggie: When I sat down to read your blog, could not stop myself. I’ve always known you to be an intelligent and extremely talented and WordSmith reading “Unemployed – A Memoir” seals that knowledge. This “spiritual bread crumbs are” necessary in today’s world. “I have a two-year journey. I have the pain I’ve felt that self-doubt, document the despair and hope. I found myself reading certain passages over again, and the biblical references were well placed. The chapter on faith was eye opening and clearly shows your extraordinary by the hair physics. I welcome you especially for mentioning the sun poet that took her life. It is true that people suffer in isolation to the point where it’s going to feel in this area is useless. At the beginning of the blog seems too hard and reads like a person who is very bitter. The reader can feel the honesty, takes you through this brutal weiter.Weiter seemly magazine, the blog draws a vivid description of a person’s dreams and visions for life in America. It is as if the painter the brush touches your eyes to see a masterpiece. Rating: 5 / 5
I have this book yesterday, and could hardly put it down until I finished. It is really gut.Erstens, in the interest of full disclosure, Reggie and I worked in the same large companies for some time. We have never worked in the same division, but we had mutual friends and saw each other from time to Zeit.Ich knew him as an engineer, first in the process (production of semiconductors in a clean room), then the Device Manager (understanding how the process affects the performance of the device). So I saw the technical side of him and knew him as a good engineer, well known and respected the covenant which I gearbeitet. Was I did not know was that he has a strong train of poetry in itself, and can write well. (It hardly ever comes between us engineer-types). I was set back a few months before, at a similar age and with similar family responsibilities, so that our concerns and needs have been somewhat the same. Some of the emotions he felt really resonate with me, while others specifically his journey. But for those of us who have walked the long road of unemployment, you can not help but read his story with a sense of deja vu.Seine story is moved and affected, and occasionally funny. For me it really hit home. I hope he will update his blog from time to time, and let us know how he will travel through the dark wood (Dante) geht.Bewertung: 5 / 5
