@ Sumiami: They both make good points but I think you have to remember, and avant-garde haute couture, are two different constructs. Yes, it’s avant-garde couture. But the limits of the sculpture of the garment is not as important as the luxury of the fabric, as it falls lines, etc. for the Haute Couture. Hope this helps?

Thats true, but most designers deferentiate from other designers. There are many other great designers not only Lebanese, the amazing pieces that are very portable to make, you must remember that can see there is haute couture dress and creativity must therefore makes the concept of making high dress. “
@ SUMIAMIseine not to take risks or not, I think there is a fine line between being too artistic and keep the clothes to wear, and at the same time elegant, sophisticated styles with intricate, high couture ,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,, and that is what Elie Saab and other Lebanese designers are in good >>>>>>>
Beautiful dress designed and made Saab is not much of risk taker nothing really cutting edge or Avante Garde in its collections.
