What Were The Changes Made When Nationalist Took Over China In 1937?
Between 1912, when the young emperor abdicated, and 1937, when the Japanese took over, China was governed as a Republic under the control of the Nationalist Party. What were some of the policies or changes implemented by the Nationalists that affected Beijing as a city?
