The last time I bought anything “Made in Taiwan” was in 1997.
The last time I bought anything “Made in Korea” was in 1999.
The last time I bought anything “Made in Vietnam” was in 2000.
The last time I bought anything “Made in The Philippines” was in 2002.
The last time I bought anything “Made in Indonesia” was in 2003.
The last time I bought anything “Made in Pakistan” was in 2003.
The last time I bought anything “Made in Afghanistan” was in 2003.
The last time I bought anything “Made in India” was in 2004.
That about covers it… nowadays, I’d say about 78% of the products I buy are “MADE IN THE USA” – the rest are European, Australian, South American, Canadian or Mexican. It is my goal that before 2012 I will have over 90% of what I own “MADE IN THE USA”.
Aside from my car, camera, computer and cell phone, everything I use on a day to day basis was “MADE IN THE USA” except for some clothes made in Europe and Canada.
I’m doing all I can to buck the trend of buying foreign products. It’s killing our economy and making the dollar a weak currency. I want America to have economic independence before I die and I’m committed to making this dream a reality by ensuring my well earned income cycles back into American hands, companies, organizations and corporations.
