First off..I like to judge my online companies by their website.
If someone has a very well done site that you know they paid a pretty penny for, well then you know youre off to a good strat.
But if its some little crappy website that looks like someone did themselves, that turns me away right there.
SECOND – I contact the telephone number after hours, first to see if they have invested some money in a nice answering service or have a professional voice system – again that shows if they have invested the money to do thier business right.
Then i contact the telephone number during their hours and see if they have a good receptionist or sales representative, again back to the quality of service they’ve invested.
FRAUD PROTECTION
Visa has fraud protection so I dont worry too much about that.
More than anything is identity theft.
Thats why I prefer to buy things on the telephone rather than use the computer. And I have a firewall, updated spyware, anti-virus and a few other counter measures in place.
For the new comuter user I would defintely suggest make sure you contact the telephone number to avoid anyone being able to steal your banking information.
Thats pretty much my 2 cents on the subject.
Visa and a few other companies have fraud protection so I feel safe that my payment will be reimbursed.

Email the contact person and ask for customer recommendations or references. When you go to pay, the page for payment should by an “https” address rather than just “http”. That means it is a secure page.
As with any purchase, if the price is too good to be true, it probably is.

I did not see anywhere that it was a secured site.
Be leery of the ones that are not secured.

first, the link doesn’t work. but usually there should be some sort of money-back guarantee or a secure site logo on their website. if not, DON’T buy. Is the site actually made in china, or just the products and the company’s located elsewhere? anyway, if in doubt, just don’t buy from them and buy from some more well-known websites.

Hmm i would just not try it. Also the link you posted doesnt work. There is a very good chance that it would be a scam. Most online shopping should be done through retail chains that already have real stores. Or big name online shops like newegg.com

Check out whether or not they use a secure payment service. If the payment processer is ok, then if the website is not legit, you should still have some recourse for recovering your money.

I wouldnt buy things from any site unless it is an official site of a product brand. I am very protective of my credit card information and if Im in doubt at all I dont. Its not worth the hassle that could happen if it isnt legit.
