Made In China Garbage, Is It Time For The American People To Become Their Own?
consumer protection agency: since the one we have apparently can’t do it’s job, and just stop buying Chinese products?. I have a flash card reader I bought, needless to say it was made in China I used it maybe 6 times and it just died, I bought a pair of jeans from the same place, I washed them “twice” 1-2, they cost $50 after having them shortened, where is the savings “where” and there have been many other examples. The last pair of American made jeans I bought lasted me “4 years” not 2 washes and I payed about the same for them, “where is all these supposed savings” someone please tell me, not to mention the stuff with the food and tires and things. Is it time to say “enough”?
I live in China. I have two kinds of things in my apartment: (1) things that are broken, and (2) things that will break. Chinese manufacturers are poorly regulated, if at all. Quality-control and safety concerns benefit the companies looking to promote follow-up sales and long-lasting relationships with customers (repeated buyership). Chinese factories, often are commissoned by companies who are in it to make a quick buck, close down, then open under a new bname. In a local market of 1.3 billion and in a wold market with a few billion more, there’s a lot of money to be made by turning out crap, selling it fast, and then fleeing in the night. China’s attitude on this is that it’s only a problem when it affects it’s increasing prosperity.
Yes. Start buying American everyone.
Case in point:
You can buy a $75 camcorder made in China and its a piece of junk
You can buy a $25,000 camcorder made in China and its state of the art.
Many parts in your American made cars are made in China. Same with your computer.
I’m an ex pat living in China and I know I can buy junk as well as quality here. The same thing existed in the states for as long as I can remember and I’m 56 years old.
Making blanket statements such as this is nowhere near being accurate. You sound like a 13 year old trying to look smart.
Peace

On the Mall in Washington D.C. for the July 4th fireworks there was injuries because some of the fireworks shot out side-ways instead of straight up.
One guess where the fire-works came from…..
doesn’t matter whether its time or not, people are going to buy the cheapest while the economy is down and fuel prices are up. if its not china it will be some other country that can make it for a lower price
What do you expect when you buy cheap jeans
$50 is not cheap for jeans, you must be kidding. That is not me saying i have loads of money because i don’t, i just think that is not a lot of money to spend on clothes and to expect them to last for years.
it is all in the eyes of the beholder, look at it this way, if you buy made in china, you at least always have the latest fashion trends, don’t wash it, throw it in the garbage and buy a new pair.
ok……why chinese products? cheap products are made all over the world like india africa and south america
and if the products sucked then stop buying them, and fyi no1 wants those jobs so stop complaining, are you complaining that the underpaid abused chinese workers arent good enough?
LOL
Walmart’s lobbyists will never put a end to this mess. You have a better chance of finding Bin Laden. You and I may want a change but that doesn’t mean a thing. Walmarts lobbyists own Washington
