You don’t need a chicken. Just combine sodium agla acid, water, gelatine, baifan, sodium benzoate, lactone, carboxymethyl cellulose, calcium carbide, lysine, food colouring agent, calcium chloride, paraffin wax, and gypsum powder.
I have heard of the “fake” egg but I’m not sure if there are that is made from China.
I use egg substitute for cooking on drastic times. Especially if there is a function and apparently, some of my guests are allergic to eggs. There are some that comes in liquid, syrup form and some in powder.
Honestly, I dont like it at all. It is not at all good for cooking nor baking, texture wise, and it taste like crap. But then again, you wouldnt want to spoil the occasion with someone suddenly fainting because of it.

They are made with chemicals. The white is a powder that when dissolved in water looks like and has the same consistency of an egg white. The yolk is the same thing, but solidifies in water. When it’s cooked, though, the whites don’t turn white and the yolk goes back to being a liquid.

No. I actually only heard that in the US. I used to eat at IHOP until I found out that it uses egg substitute to make scrambled eggs.
