I’m sick of looking on the internet for recalls everytime I buy a friggin toy. And who knows if the toys NOT on the list have just not been caught? What a pain in the ***–and Americans are still out of work.
i know exactly what you mean its cheaper to make it over seas and it shows with all the recalls also feel there are alot more out there that have not been found out.now when i am buying toys i check where they make before i buy.if they making toys so cheaply they are bound to be cutting corners
It costs less for toys to be made in other countries. I’m sure every toy I played with when I was little was unsafe, but I survived. Many toys have a small amount of lead in them but still pass the lead standard for toys in the US. Seriously, unless kids constantly have toys in their mouths and bite off the paint, or peel the paint off and eat it, the risk of lead poisoning isn’t that great.
American toys are made in China because they have 11 year olds working for 50 cents a week and the production price and employee rate is waaaay lower than it is here.
