Is The Usa The Only Country Whose Toys Are Almost All Made In China?

…or is it the same everywhere?
I’ve been shopping for a bunch lately and noticing that 90% of them are in , and 1-2% are actually in North America. It’s pretty dramatic.

  1. Everywhere, mostly. Big Chinese Santa Clause and a couple billion industrious low-wage elves….

  2. China’s two top export areas (67%) are the US and the European Union. I would imagine they have the same amount per capita as we do.
Yes, our trade with China is pretty deep, and the trade deficit is huge. We export about $5 billion worth of goods to them; we import about $26 billion worth of goods from them.
Fun fact: Over 80% of products sold in Wal-Mart are made in China.

  3. no, china is another place stacked with chinnese toys

  4. a warning to anyone who is worried about china products
last summer I was blowing up a beach ball. (made in china) the chemicals in it got into my lungs & I was diagnosed with asthma.
use a pump to blow up anything ok. stay away from balloons that you blow up by your mouth.

  5. I think that would be worldwide. If most of the toys shipped to the US are made in China, then most of the toys shipped to any other country are made in China. The cheap labor is why so many company’s have their products made there.

  6. The US and others countries get the work done cheaper in China. That is why the US don’t have many factorys left.

  7. nope unfortunately is the same thing in most places.
the industries wanted higher profit so they started to make them in china and then shops get a better profit even if they sell them cheaper so they take them in and people(us the customers)are so f…cking cheap so they buy the cheap poison toys(and all other things)so the better quality brands that are made in europe or usa for example are going bancrupt if they dont change their production to some cheap country and the works is going out and we get posion in us and in our water/land.
yeah its a very bad wheel that goes around.

  8. i’m from australia and its pretty much the same over here and its not just toys. but as it has been mentioned before you have to be very carefull when buying these toys for children we have had alot of recalls on toys that had small parts that could be swallowed and some toys contained lead and other toxins. its pretty sad when we choose to import cheap toys that make kids sick rather than make them here so we know they will be up to standard

  9. nope…its true here in canada also. i read sumwhere that 90% of walmart stuff is made in china.
