What Do You Know About Goods Made In Korea Being Covered With Stickers Saying Made In China?

Friends and I buy little household goodies from a local DOLLAR STORE. Recently we have found there were in China stickers pasted over orginally printed Made in identification. The products vary (i. e., gloves, toys, office products, glassware, etc.). could possibly be the reason for this.

  1. It could be the product (not the one you bought, but the very first time the company start to produce) was originally made in Korea. As the manufacturing cost is lower in China, the company start to ask Chinese factories to produce the product. However, the Chinese factory copy everything on the packing label, even the wording of “Made in Korea.” When the company imported these discovered the mistake, it was too late. Instead of remaking the packing labels, they simply put on the stickers to correctly identify that the product is now “Made in China.”

  2. We have the same problem, clothing like sportwear t-shirts, etc are all Made in Korea, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, China, because our Manufacturer’s have moved theyre businesses overseas to these countries, where labour is cheap, and the quality is not good. What u see is wat u get Made Somewhere Else.
